9/11, 9 years later

Today it makes 9 years from the 9/11. I believe that every one of us, the ones with more then 15 years old in 2001, knows exactly where and what we were doing at the moment we saw the images or heard the news of what was happening to the World Trade Centre. It was one of those rare moments that create and impact and change the life of almost all the persons on our planet, a historical event of our civilization with consequences on our lives for generations for the worst reasons.

Because of all that and for all the thousands of lives that was taken on that day, on that place, is natural that for a all nation and in part for a civilization the ground zero and all the near zone are filled of symbolism and we can even say a sacred land for the Americans.

For all this feelings and realities, the actual idea of a mosque on that specific area of NY is provocation and a national question for the majority of the Americans citizens.

Sure that at the first view, being a private property Imam Sheik Rauf have all the right to build the mosque, however, because of what that area of NY represents for the New Yorkers and for the majority of the Americans citizens this is above all a Imam Sheik Rauf political strategy to increase the feeling of domination of extreme muslins.

The Imam Sheik Rauf is betting in various situations.

The first one is on the religion orientation of the EUA President, if he do not give his public support to the project the extremist can say that he is in war against muslins and he is the devil disguised of muslin that must to be fight to death. If he approves the project they will scream to the world that they have won the war because they have a muslin in the US presidency and the 9/11 is a muslins victory.

The second one is that the president support to the project will became a religious question for the public, the muslins on the Obama side and the rest of the country against him and the inverse will happen if he rejects it. With that the Imam realize the extremists dream of bring to the domestic field the war of muslins against the infidels.

But now let us think what would happen if was a project for building a church in Saudi Arabia, it would be allowed to build the church? In Saudi Arabia all non muslins symbols are forbidden on public.

If the Imam Sheik Rauf intentions is real the tolerance and the healing why he do not ask the Jews, the Christians, and other major religions on EUA to build one temple for all religions together or to build a religious centre with each religious temples side by side with the Muslin temple, all as equal, in mutual respect and support, on a real message of tolerance and condemnation of religious wars?

And so, nine years past we steal acting by and living the consequences of those few hours on the morning of the 9/11 of 2001.
